On a personal note, I would have to say that George (the owner of Azzurri) and Daniel (his right hand man) are two genuinely great guys who have put their hearts and souls into this years range. These guys have a true passion for what they do and every year they work hard on improving the quality of their range and the value they offer you, the consumer.

FRAME TECHNOLOGY Azzurri's frames are at the heart and soul of the brands growing success, continually developing and refining their manufacturing processes and sourcing the latest materials. Azzurri understand that the frame is the most important part of the bike, it controls the way the bike handles and responds while under varying levels of power and over different terrains while at the same time needing to provide the rider with greater comfort.

The nature of different materials and the manner in which they can be manipulated means they have natural limitations and tendencies when used in manufacturing bicycle frames. For 2011, Azzurri have used their vast knowledge of alloy and carbon composite materials in producing 4 different Road Bike frames, each of them designed for specific rider needs.

Azzurri MEZZO Carbon Series The Mezzo carbon road bike frame for 2011 is totally new. While the name is the same as last years model, it is in every other respect a completely different frame. Weighing in at under 900grams this frame has been designed to satisfy the light weight fanatics without compromising on performance, stiffness and comfort you expect from a top of the range carbon frame.

Groupset Options for the Mezzo series are, Shimano Ultegra, Shimano Dura-Ace and SRAM Red

Azzurri FORZA Carbon Series Carefully engineered from a specific selection of carbon materials, the Azzurri Forza carbon frames are designed for every day riders looking for their first carbon road bike. The Forza is extremely light and rider comfort levels are exceptional. Entry level carbon frames often lack the energy efficiency but this is not so with the Forza. A lot of work has gone into this frame to ensure that when you put the pedal down, the bike responds with gusto, no unnecessary flex or loss of control.

Summing it up, for their entry carbon model this frame is ridiculously good and redefines value for money!

Azzurri IMPERIA Alloy/Carbon Series These frames are fluid formed alloy and carbon. The fluid form technology that has enabled the Azzurri engineers to maximize the welded surface area, creating a stronger more durable road bike frame set that is comfortable to ride and responsive in nature and they look great!. The improved angles and integrated carbon seat stay combination used in the Imperia reduces rider fatigue and improves comfort levels over longer distances.

The ‘Imperia’ series has been designed for the weekend warrior, bicycle commuter and entry competition cyclist. Lighter, Stronger, Stiffer, plus Performance Enhanced. The Imperia comes equipped with Shimano 105 components.

Azzurri PREMIUM Alloy Series When you start looking around and comparing different road bike brands and models it becomes pretty apparent that Azzurri's Premium Alloy road bike series are better priced, better equipped and better looking than their competitors models! A big call to make, well sure but take a look for yourself and you'll see the truth in it... it's what makes Azzurri bikes great.

The Premium road bike frames are fluid formed, a technology that enables Azzurri to shape the tubes of the frame to improve stiffness and comfort and increase the welded surface area making them stronger and more durable.
