Don't want to clutter your bike
with a hand pump? Stuck on the side of the road with a flat?? Getting
your tyres up to 120psi with a hand pump can be difficult and time
consuming... It's time to get with the program. CO2 Air Cartridges are a
cheap, lightweight alternative that will save you time, and your arms.
To inflate your tyres follow these simple steps.
1. Unscrew insulator from chuck and remove the thread protector from Co2 Cartridge.
2. Quickly screw the CO2 Cartridge into the base of chuck until it is punctured.
3. Place the chuck over the tyre valve. Guide the chuck fully on to the tyre valve. The chuck must seat fully against the valve. On some motorcycle wheels you may need to hold the chuck between the disc rotors to ensure it seals correctly. Secure the connection by pulling the thumb lever up.
4. Press on the chuck as indicated to start inflation. Maintain pressure on chuck until desired pressure is obtained. Removing pressure from the chuck will stop the flow of CO2. maximum pressure will be obtained if chuck is used with the cartridge in the upright position.
5. Transporting: Place the cartridge inside the insulator and place supplied cover over the CO2 Cartridge threads. Thread the insulator into the chuck.
Caution: Do not remove CO2 Cartridge from the chuck until you are sure the cartridge is completely empty. CO2 is for emergency use only and should be replaced with air as soon as possible. Do not puncture or heat above 49degrees as contents are under pressure. Never direct towards any person or animal. Always keep cartridges out of the reach of children. Contents is CO2 UN1013. Never leave in any vehicle as explosion may occur due to overheating and can cause injury.
