If you have been into our stores before, you will know that our workshops are impecable. Our mechanics are professionally trained and they have all the cool tools to get the job done right.

Like a car, there are a lot of moving parts on your bike and they need to be checked, cleaned, lubricated and adjusted so they continue to run and operate smoothly.

Half-yearly or yearly bicycle servicing is essential preventative maintenance and rejuvenation. Drop your bike into one of our stores and we’ll take care of the maintenance for you to keep your bike running as well as the first day you bought it.

If you are looking for a shop that will do a “just slap it together” job then this is not the place for you.

Quotes and Repair Costs

It is not always possible to accurately quote the cost of repairs for your bike. Where this is the case, we will supply you with an estimate and if the repair is assessed by the mechanic performing the work as higher than the suggested cost, we will contact you prior to beginning the work for authorization to proceed.

This is recommended every 6 months if you use your bicycle frequently. If you haven’t used your bike for several months this a great way of making sure that your bicycle is functioning properly and safe to ride. It is also ideal for rejuvenating your bike and keeping it running smoothly.

To service and adjust your bike properly the components must to be clean to start with. In this service we remove the drivetrain components and give them a good scrub in the bath before refitting and beginning the service. The Full Adjustment & Degrease requires more work and takes a bit longer, but you’ll notice the improvement when you go out on your next ride.

Over time, dirt, brake dust, water and other foreign elements work their way into the components of your bike, even inside the frame itself. We completely strip down your bike removing, cleaning, greasing and lubricating every part. Once done, we then completely rebuild your bike replacing the cables and any other worn or distressed parts that are no longer safe or functioning effectively.

Bike Building Services

Assembling Department Store Bikes / $99.00

Most department stores supply their bikes unassembled and in the box. Our trained mechanics will assemble your bike to exacting standards, the same standards that we set for our own bikes.

As well as completing all necessary safety checks so that you can be confident that your new bike will operate in the manner that the manufacturers intended.

Assembling a new bike takes approx 70 minutes. Normal turnaround time is 24 hours but can be longer during the Christmas period.

Custom and Specialty Builds / $299.00

Building your dream bike one part at a time? With the custom build option we take all of the individual parts you have selected and assemble them to exacting standards. This takes time and care and is only performed by select mechanics.

Custom Builds takes approx. 4 hours to perform. If you require a same day service please book well in advance and we can still have your bike back to you the very same day if you book it in ahead of time!

As Australia’s largest Dealer for Eddy Merckx, this is a specialty for us. Eddy Merckx frames have a reputation of exceeding customer expectations and we take great pride and special care when assembling your Eddy.

We currently have 2 Specialty Mechanics who perform Eddy Merckx builds; they are highly trained and have more than 30 years of combined experience between them! Time taken – As Long as it takes!
